HOW SHOULD I AVAIL THESE 10 DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH !?!?!

Dear Readers,

Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu :)

After a very long time, but Alhumdulillah I am back to boost up your Iman level as well as mine, in sha'a Allah. A reminder to first myself and then to others !!

Well the topic itself tells you alot about what further you are going to read. As we all know we are going to welcome the best days of the year - TEN days of DHUL HIJJAH, and most of us already know alot about these days importance but what I really want to focus in my this post is regarding what acts should we do to avail the most and utmost of these ten days. For those who are completely new to the topic I would prefer them to visit my sister's page Manal Mirza - Patience In Everything. But just a bit of introduction.

Excellence of these 10 days :-

Allah subhanawata'ala knows what is the wisdom behind choosing these ten days, he does his work based on his wisdom purely, we don't have to question it but bring Iman on it silently. (This AMAL (act) is proved by sahabas, and we too are required to do the same).

''And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him.'' (Surah Al - Qasas : 68)

ACTS THAT SHOULD BE DONE IN THESE DAYS :-

As considering above HADITH IN THE PICTURE , what are the righteous deeds that are more beloved to Allah ??

They are as follows :

1) Firstly, make your niyyah (intention) sincerely to avail most from these ten days only for the sake of Allah.

2) To welcome these ten days with istagfaar (seeking forgiveness) - because Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala doesn't give taufeeq to the sinners.

3) To focus more on your 5 daily prayers - by focusing I mean to raise the level of concentration, peace (khushu), punctuality and purity. It means to also step on the second level apart from doing your obligatory prayers but also the nawafil (voluntary prayers).

4) Know the importance of tahajjud. Try to get up for tahajjud, pray to Allah at that time, because that a time where Allah
Subhanahu wa Ta'ala accepts and answers your duas.

5) Fasting on the day of Arafah that is 9th Dhul Hijjah.

Hadith :

Narrated Abu Qatadah, that the Messenger of Allah salalahu alayhi wasalam said, "Fasting on the day of Arafah is an expiation (of the sins, by Allah) for two years, the year before it and the year following it," (Sahih Muslim)

6) Also to fast Nafl (voluntary) fasts in these 9 days. But this fasting is for the ones who are NOT performing the Hajj. And the 10th day Eid ul Adha on which no one should fast.

7) Increase your time of doing Tilawah of Qura'an (recitation of the Qura'an), spend more time on its Tafseer (detailed explanation), relate it to your life and ponder on its verses.

8) Do as much Zikr (remembrance of Allah Taa'la) as possible, stay away from gossiping at least in these ten days.

"Increase in these days, Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar), Tahleel (saying La Ilaha Ilallah) and Tahmeed (saying Alhumdulillah) ".

9) A very important act for myself as well as for my reader's, is to do sincere tawbah (repentance) for your sins, your mistakes, turn towards Allah before it's too late. Remember Allah is the One who accepts your Tawbah, He loves to see you returning to Him again and again.

10) Do the acts of obedience because that makes you closer to Allah and that is the only way of earning the love of Allah. And seriously who doesn't want the love of Allah!

11) Feed the poor, the needy ones you know, the people you see on your way, especially those who ask you.

12) Do more charity either from your money, belongings or anything that can benefit others.

13) Encourage your friends and family to do good deeds and prevent them from doing bad deeds.

14) Most importantly do sacrifice (UDHIYA) if you can voluntarily.

15) It's my personal request to all of my readers, to please listen and understand the Qutbah of Eid (sermon of Eid ul Adha).

These voluntary deeds are awarded twice the amount for those done in any other day. So avail the most from it. May Allah give me as well as you Taufeeq to do RIGHTEOUS DEEDS sincerely ONLY for Allah. (Allahuma Ameen) :)

THE FASTING HEART (QALB - E - SAYM)

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATAHU ,

Hey my lovely readers..How are you ?? Hope doing great with the grace of Allah. And How is your preparation for Ramadan ... I believe it must be going on in full swing Masha Allah. The homes must be spick and span by now, the food list made, the qaym al layl planner decided, iftar and suhoor timings checked and the list goes on and on. BUT one thing that we least take care or pay attention to is the cleaning of our HEARTS. It is very important for us to have a clean heart (free from all dirt and malice towards others, jealousy, hatred, anger, love of world, hypocrisy etc) before we enter Ramadan... and its high time now.

The question you may ask is why do I clean my heart, are not my good actions enough.. Let us know why.....

WHY SHOULD I CLEAN MY HEART?WHY SHOULD I TAKE IT SERIOUSLY?

  • THE CONTROLLER OF OUR BODY:
Narrated An-Nu'man ibn Bashir رضي الله عنه  that Prophet Muhammed صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart." ( part of hadith from Al - Bukhari).

Every action we do depends on the heart. Always ask yourself,  Does my heart incline towards goodness or towards indecency. CHECK YOURSELF! CHECK YOUR HEART!!

  • THE PLACE WHERE ALLAH LOOKS:
Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: "Allah does not look at your appearances or your financial status, but He looks at your hearts and your actions." (Al-Bukhari)

When there is some guest coming to your house, you clean it and make sure it is pleasant, sweet smelling and beautiful, THEN imagine ALLAH SUBHAANAHU WA TAA'LA looks at your heart...Imagine ALLAH TAA'LA looking at your heart constantly, every moment ALLAHU AKBAR then how would you like it to be? Ask yourself, Do I just like to have my habits and nature good in front of people and let ALLAH TAA'LA look at my rusted heart??...CHECK YOURSELF!  CHECK YOUR HEART!!

  • ALLAH VALUES A GOOD HEART:
     اِنۡ يَّعۡلَمِ اللّٰهُ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِكُمۡ خَيۡرًا يُّؤۡتِكُمۡ خَيۡرًا مِّمَّاۤ اُخِذَ مِنۡكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَـكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوۡر رَّحِيۡمٌ

'If Allah finds any goodness in your hearts He will give you that which is better than what has been taken away from you, and He will forgive you. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.' ( Al Anfal : 70)

Now this ayah was revealed in context of the captives of the Battle of Badr, who were non - believers, now THINK for a while ALLAH TAA'LA is saying to Rasool صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم that if there was any goodness even in the heart of a kafir (i.e his innate quality {fitrat} is sound despite being midst of all corruption) He will not let it go in vain, rather forgive and give better in return. THEN, if we as believers try to search for khair (goodness), how much of HIS pleasure can we get? Subhaan ALLAH. Here we are reaching Ramadan, let us spend it in cleaning our hearts and fill it with the desire to do and spread good.

  • DUA FOR A STEADFAST HEART:
A believer always makes dua for the steadfastness of his/her heart. It is his most important dua as he knows that ALLAH TAA'LA is looking at him always.

The prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said in an authentic hadith reported by Imams Ahmad and Al-Hakim, "The heart of the son of Adam is up to be more unstable than the boiling water in a pot." The prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم also said about it in another authentic hadith reported by Imam Ahmad, "It was called "al’qalb" (meaning the heart) from "Taqalub" because of its changing nature; the example of the heart is like a feather at the trunk of a tree that the wind keeps turning it upside down."

For this reason, the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to supplicate frequently for the steadfastness of heart. There are many duas we find from the Qur'an and the sunnah, I'll list 2 of them.

Another dua is :

[Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower. (Surah Ale Imran, Ayah 8)

  • TOOL TO UNDERSTAND:

Allah brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when you knew nothing, and He gave you hearing, sight and hearts so that you may give thanks (to Him). (Surah Al Nahl: 78)

ALLAH TAA'LA says in this ayah that He gave the sight (eyes), hearing (ears) and hearts so that we are grateful. If a person recites the Qur'an then he is using the two faculties of seeing and hearing, but its of no use until the message reaches the heart. If the eyes are the monitor and the ears are the speakers; then the heart is the electricity to it, which if is not there then the other two are useless. Hence, the tool to understanding is the heart and we need to clean our rusted heart to understand and be grateful to ALLAH TAA'LA in the best manner.

Ask yourself, when I recite the Qur'an do I feel happy on any goodnews like glad-tidings of paradise, endless reward? Do I feel scared of the hell fire? Does the Qur'an have an effect on me like it did on the Companions رضي الله عنهم? CHECK YOURSELF! CHECK YOUR HEART!!

  • ACCOUNTABLE ON QAYAMAH:

إِنَّ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْبَصَرَ وَٱلْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْـُٔولًۭا............
Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned (by Allah). (Surah Al - Isra, Ayah 36)

Along with the sight and the hearing, the heart shall also be questioned. What filled our hearts : the love of  ALLAH TAA'LA or the world? The hope to spread goodness or evil? Doing good for the sake of ALLAH TAA'LA or for the sake of fame?? CHECK YOURSELF! CHECK YOUR HEART!!

  • Last but one of the most important point, INTENTION MATTERS:
No good one does is beneficial if the intention is not sincerely for ALLAH TAA'LA.

'Umar bin al-Khattab رضي الله عنه, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: "Actions are according to intentions, and everyone will get what was intended."  (Bukhari and Muslim)

Therefore, before we do any good we need to have a pure heart full of sincerity (ikhlas) and hope for reward only from ALLAH TAA'LA as only if our intention is right , it will be accepted. Renew your intention before any act you do. Ask yourself, Am i doing for ALLAH's pleasure or people's praise? CHECK YOURSELF! CHECK YOUR HEART!!

Just like if you have a dirty glass and you fill it with clean water ..what will be the result?? The water will get dirty too. Similarly,The dirt accumulated on our heart cannot be cleaned with one month's good. But if the same dirty glass, you overflow it with clean water, the glass will be clean even without washing it. In the same manner, however rusted our hearts are if we fill it with abundance of khair , purify it with seeking forgiveness and sincere efforts, make dua for its purification and steadfastness during the entire month (and even after that) then our hearts will be shining and crystal clear in the end of Ramadan In sha ALLAH.

Keeping these 7 points as criteria check the condition of your heart because that is how a fasting heart should be. Once the internal part is clear, the external (actions) are bound to be good too in sha ALLAH.
I'll take your leave now with the dua that hope ALLAH TAA'LA bless us with Ramadan in the best of our healths and Imaan. May HE bless us with the taufiq to earn HIS pleasure and forgiveness. May we turn into better muslims this Ramadan and remain steadfast on our righteousness....AMEEN!

Assalamualaikum!!

GEAR UP FOR RAMADAN!!!

                     Assalamualiakum wa rahmatulllahi wa barakatuhu

First thing to do is awaken our hearts....we know we can't save ourselves from hell fire if we ransom the whole world....this material world has no value infront of Allah...what Allah wants from us is His servitude that we worship Him by totally submitting and humbling ourselves to our Rabb.

Narrated Abu Huraira(r.a): The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:"... whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven." (Imam Bukhari).

There are 3 things included in this hadith 1- Action which is fasting 2- Conditions that is with Iman and seekin reward 3- And reward and promise of forgiveness of previous sins.

So first we should have faith that we're keeping the fast in obedience to Allah following His hukm. We should consider fasting ibadah/worship and not adat/habbit,, we are fasting to please Allah

We come to know from this ayah that one fasts to attain taqwa.....whats taqwa ? Its to fulfill the commands of Allah and to stay away from the prohibitions out of love and honour of Allah. Taqwa saves the person from sinning and following ones desires and fulfill ones obligations and duties. So the month of Ramadan is a chance to cleanse our hearts from all evil and fill it up with taqwa, we need to gear up from now to benefit the most from this month and achieve the purpose of bringing goodness in our hearts and purify our souls.

lets see now what actions we can do to gear up for Ramadan from now
1-Voluntary fasts- If we fast from this month of shaban then this will bring perseverance and self control we'll be able to discipline ourselves from now itself...the prophet Sallahu aliahi wasalam use to observe fast in the month of shaban.

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "The Messenger (p.b.u.h.) used to fast until we thought he would never break his fast, and not fast until we thought he would never fast. I never saw the Messenger of Allah fasting for an entire month except in Ramadan, and I never saw him fast more than he did in Sha'ban." (Bukhari and Muslim).

2- Reciting the Quran - we should recite and ponder on the verses of the quran and seek closeness to Allah while we're fasting. When one gets spiritual elevation from abstaining from the halal worldly routine and devoting time to the Quran achieves the benefit of Ramadan.we get spiritual training in this month by boosting our Iman and taqwa.
3-Praying voluntary prayers-we know the that the prophet sallallahu alihi wasalm use to do a lot of qiyam in ramadan so in order to do those long qiyams we need to prepare and strengthen our bodies from now.
4-Making dua- Seek help from Allah for every good action you intend to do this Ramadan and not waste time while getting the spirit of Ramadan and keep away all the hinderances that are caused when it comes to perfection (ahsan) in ibadah.
5-Sincere repentance- Start from now with repentence remember your sins and seek forgiveness. Welcome ramadan with tauba..only then we can on focus bringing the goodness in ourselves this month.
6-Give in charity- while we're fasting we should feel for our other poor muslim brothers and our loving and caring should increase by ramadan. The prophet(saw) use to be more generous in ramadan.

7-Controllin the tongue-we should control our tongues from useless talks.

Abu Huraira related that the Prophet said: If a person does not avoid false talk and false conduct during Siyam, then Allah does not care if he abstains from food and drink (Bukhari, Muslim).

we can also adopt taqwa by pondering on Allah's bounty and favours on us use our tongues to be grateful to Him by doing zikr and mentioning His bounty.

132. " And be in awe of Him Who has succoured you with what you know."
133. " He has succoured you with cattle and Children,"
134. " And gardens and springs."
135. "Verily I fear for you the chastisement of a Great Day."

8-Improving your character and habbits- we should start by being good to our parents first, we should bring ahsan in worshipping Allah and then ahsan towards people by forgiving them for their flaws. we should read the seerah of the prophets and their companions and see how well wishing and loving they were. One of the social benefit of fasting is that it brings love for justice and equality.

9-Moderation in eating- we should focus more on ibadah while fasting, from the spirtual benefits of fasting is that it accustoms one to patience, it teaches self restraint and helps one practise it and it places the gift of piety in the soul and cultivates it. A human being is made of four things heart, soul/nafs..filled with desires, mind and body, we have to work on our heart and mind its provision is quran and hadith.

10-Implementing sunnah in daily life-we should change our lifestyles and implement on the sunnah of the prophet. He had the best character and He is the best example to follow, we should adopt the habbits of our Nabi and bring a change in our lives.

LIFE IS A TEST- DON'T GIVE UP ALLAH IS WITH US. A HOPE FOR THE DARK SOULS

                 ASSALAMUALIAKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUHU

Surah al Ankaboot is also known as suratul fitan, in which Allah mentions that we are going to face challenges in life but in these difficulties a person should rely only on Allah by worshipping Him Alone and have good hopes in Him. The biggest fitnah is when a person relies on people which Allah describes as weak as the spider's web. Difficulty is like Darkness in which one can't understand things, he is lost, the pain and hurt makes a person go crazy, in the darkest hour one should rely on Allah by sincerily remembering Him in ones heart, have faith in Him and at the same time patiently bearing others and being good to them.

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

But as for those who strive hard in Our cause-We shall most certainly guide them onto paths that lead unto Us: for, behold, God is indeed with the doers of good. Surah ankaboot-69

This ayah is one of the main lessons that Allah (swt) is teaching us in this surah..Those who struggle in the way of Allah in order to get His approval, then Allah doesn't abandon them, Allah will give them opportunity to do more good, He will guide them to that which they don't know. This is the promise of Allah that He is with those who do Ahsan.

LESSONS- We have to keep struggling no matter what comes our way and rely on Allah (swt) whether people/circumstances support us or not, we have to keep going on expecting reward from Allah Alone.

We have to keep struggling and Allah will show us the way.We have to be a muhsin and do what we do with sincerity, perfection and don't give up. The only condition is that we have to struggle and do Ahsan to recieve Allah's help.  WE can be a muhsin to others by telling them the reality of life described in the quran, letting them know about their purpose, so that they strive for the right things and be successful in the end.

THIS IS NOT THE END . BUT ITS THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING BETTER.

The dark hours make us come closer to Allah and recognise Him and those who recognise Allah then He gives them such wisdom that not everyone understands, one is able to deal with his challenges and face hardships with ease. The quran shows us the way out of our problems, it has all the answers we have been searching for all our lives. We have faith that its the word of Allah guiding us out and telling us that why we have to face this and what we we'll get for it in return...He hasn't left us on our own, but He sent us guidance, Its in our innate nature (fitrah) to Rely on someone supreme. He is with us, its we who need to call Him and have strong faith in Him.

IMPORTANCE OF QURAN & PRAYER

ASSALAM O ALAIKUM READERS,

I have come to share about the importance of reading Quran & prayer in the light of Quran & Sunnah.for this I have taken verse 45 of Surat al Ankabut.

Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.
(Surah Ankabut-45)

The address apparently is directed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) but, in fact, it is meant for all the believers. We are being told to recite the Quran and establish the Salat as a practical device, for these are the two things which endow a believer with a strong character and a wonderful capacity by which he can not only brave successfully the most violent storms of evil and falsehood but can even subdue them.

But man can acquire this power from the recitation of the Quran and the prayer only when he does not remain content with the mere recital of the words but also understands well the Quranic teachings and absorbs them in his soul.

As for its recitation, one should know that the recitation which does not reach the heart beyond the throat, cannot even give man enough power to remain steadfast to his faith, not to speak of enabling him to withstand the furies of unbelief. About such people, a Hadith says:

“They will recite the Quran, but the Quran will not go beyond their throats; they will leave the faith just as the arrow leaves the bow.” (Bukhari, Muslim, Muatta)

As a matter of fact, the recitation which does not effect any change in a man’s way of thinking, and his morals and character, and he goes on doing what the Quran forbids, is not the recitation of a believer at all.

whereas one  who believes in the Quran as a divine Book, reads it and comes to know what his God has enjoined, and then goes on violating His injunctions, is of the culprit, who commits a crime not due to ignorance but after full knowledge of the law.

The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) has said:

“The Quran is a testimony in your favor as well as against you,” (Muslim).

That is, “If you follow the Quran rightly, it is a testimony in your favor. Whenever you are called to account for your deeds, in the Hereafter, you can produce the Quran as a testimony in your defense, saying that whatever you did was in accordance with this Book. And if you adopt an attitude opposed to it, then this Book will be a testimony against you.

The virtue of the prayer that has been mentioned here has two aspects: Its essential and inseparable quality that it restrains from evil and indecent acts, and its desired quality that the one who performs it should, in fact, refrain from evil and indecent acts. As for the first quality the prayer does restrain people from the evils. Anyone who ponders a little over the nature of the prayer will admit that of all the checks and brakes that can be put on man to restrain him from the evils, the prayer can be the most effective.

After all, what check could be more effective than this that man should be called upon five times a day for the remembrance of Allah and made to remind himself again and again that he is not wholly free and independent in this world but is the servant of One God, and his God is He Who is aware of his open as well as hidden acts.

From the time that he stands up for the prayer till its completion man has to perform continuously certain acts in which there is no third person, besides him and his God. Thus considered, that the prayer not only restrains man from the evils and indecencies but, in fact, there is no other method of training in the world which may be so effective as the prayer is in restraining man from the evils.

As for the question whether or not man in actual fact refrains from the evils even after attendance at the prayer, this depends upon the man himself, who is undergoing training for self reform. If he has the intention to benefit from it, and endeavors for it, the reformatory effects of the prayer will certainly have their impact on him. Otherwise, evidently, no reformatory device in the world can be effective with a person, who is not prepared to receive any impact of it, or tries to avoid its impact intentionally.

LIFE : AN AMUSEMENT AND PLAY

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATAHU!!

Hello dear readers!! How have you been?? It has been a long time since I wrote something on our blog so apologies for that and lets begin. Bismillah! :)

Our life is the biggest blessing of ALLAH SUBHAANAHU WA TAA'LA. We spend our lives to educate ourselves so as to have a respectable position in public, a good standard of living, luxurious goods and so on.

BUT what exactly is this life?? What is its actual value??  Why do we spend all our precious time running after the world??

ALLAH SUBAHAANAHU WA TAA'LA says in the Holy Qur'an :

And this worldly life is nothing but a diversion and play. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew. (Surah Al - Ankaboot, Ayah No. 64)

For understanding this let us see the terms " lahwa / diversion " and "la'eb / play or sports".

LAHWA means any such thing that keeps one busy and distracts from the real purpose.

LA'EB means to engage in something for recreation for a short time and that is bound to end.

So that is just like a circus, where people spend days for its preparation, setting up of the tent, stage, dresses, animals, have rehearsals etc. and after the show is over (which people enjoy for a few hours) they wind up everything as if nothing was even there. Similarly ALLAH SUBHAANAHU WA TAA'LA says here, that the reality of this life is just like a play - today it is; tomorrow it is gone. Those who are charmed by the short-lived triumphs of this life and are able to collect some means of enjoyment and pleasure and of glory and grandeur by losing their conscience and faith, are only engaged in a pastime forgetting their main purpose for which they are here i.e to prepare for the aakhirah (Hereafter) which is eternal and there is no end. What use will this worldy glitter be for them in the Hereafter? Shall it help them in anyways??

Only if people know the real purpose of this life which is to prepare for the aakhirah (hereafter) then they would spend it preparing for it - the eternal life and not waste it in amusement and
merry making; rather would do something productive and good work for the hereafter so that they don't enter the next phase of eternity empty handed. Although this life is of no value, it is still very precious as it is the only means for preparing for Aakhirah.

ALLAH TAA'LA says else where in the Qur'an :

[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah , He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties. (Surah Muhammed , Ayah No. 36)

That means a believer lives his life according to Allah, fulfilling His commands and abstaining from His prohibitions, as He will recompense us for our deeds and not for our worldly success.

LESSONS FROM THE AYAH:

  • It is very important for us to understand this as then only shall we be able to utilize our duniya for works conducive to better results for aakhirah.

  • Keeping an view on our actions and asking ourselves before doing anything :
" Will it help me earn Allah's pleasure?"
"Will it help me enter into jannah for eternity?"
"Is this going to help me in Aakhirah?"

  • Being conscious of ALLAH at each step, before each action i.e., have taqwa (God fearing)

  • Making Aakhirah our aim and paradise our destination.
It's never late Alhumdulillah. We can still repent and reform our ways from today itself and make the best of our remaining life. Work towards earning His pleasure and be jannah driven.

May Allah Taa'la bless us with the taufeeq to use our time in a better way and earn His pleasure and Jannah where life never ends. Ameen !!

Assalamualaikum! Have a great day :)

FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO PRACTICE ISLAM IN YOUR COUNTRY? TWO SOLUTIONS

Assalamualaikum WarahmatuAllahi Wabarakatuhu!

Today I would like to share with you two solutions that Allah subhanAllah wa taála has given us if we find it difficult to practice Islam, or follow the ehkamaat ordained by Allah upon us.

The first Solution is given in Surah Al Ankaboot Verse: 56 (O My Servants who have believed! Surely, My Earth is spacious to migrate if Needed, therefore worship Me and  ME Alone!) This verse was revealed when the Muslims in Makkah were facing a hard time to practice Islam and faced a lot of oppositions from the Kuffar e Makkah so some travelled to Habasha and later even Rasool Sallalaahu alaihi wasallam also had migrated to Madinah because of the severe threats and oppositions he had faced.

This ayat shows us our first clear solution. Migrate or move from your country to protect your deen. For verily if you even find fitna in the place where you live and find it hard for yourself to practice your religion, then move and migrate for the sake of Allah. Wouldn't we migrate  if we faced oppression in our countries to save our lives if there were terrorist attacks going on or if there was a drought or bad economy? Then why not migrate to save your deen?

The second Solution is to do Utmost Struggle (Jihad) with your own nafs and soul. If you find it difficult to practice your religion and still can't move or migrate then strive in the cause of Allah and follow His commandments no matter how many oppositions you face. Can we compare our oppositions to the oppositions faced by Rasool Sallalahu alaihi wasallam and his beloved companions in Makkah where many early muslims in Islam were tortured brutally and killed just because they said Allah is One? We don't face half the oppositions they faced yet we have 10 excuses to present.
We cannot makes excuses when it comes to following the commandments and rules set by Allah whether if it was a muslim country where following Islam is easy or a non-muslim country where praciticing Islam can be difficult. We can't say that we weren't able to wear Hijab, stop giving Riba or pray Salat because the people here call us oppressed and look at us with weird eyes and we would not get a job, no one would be our friend, no one would marry me.
Sure it is hard for you and Allah Alone knows what you go through, but for that difficulty Allah has also shown you a way out to bring you out of that misery, then why not take His advice? Either migrate of Jihad un Nafs

This can be confirmed with another ayat in Surah An Nisa Verse 97. Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination! 98. Except the weak ones among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way. 99. For these there is hope that Allah will forgive them, and Allah is Ever Oft Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving.

Even the birds migrate when they face any difficulties
in survival
Ask yourself really before calling yourself Weak or oppressed. Do you have enough money to eat, travel, spend in your child's education, pay rents, have good friends circle? Were you arrested, threatened, tortured by the kuffar? If the first answer is yes and the second answer is no then you are not weak nor oppressed.

These are such stern ayats that we take so easily as if we never read or heard them. But, subhanAllah, if you look at the bright side there are some inspirational people out there also who practice Islam and still follow the commandments set by Allah and they do it for the sake of Allah wherever they are and what they do is the real Jihad un Nafs. And they are our real inspirations.

If we thought for one second that we need to please Allah alone, then how many deeds would we be doing differently?
